1. Camera Overview
2. Power On the Device
Connect the Micro USB cord to the camera, and plug the power adapter into the power
outlet. Camera is ready for app setup when the blue power LED indicator begins to flash.
3. Soteria App
Download the free Soteria AI app to get started.
4. Select Camera in the APP

5. Connect Camera to the Internet (for Android devices)
Setup instructions for Android devices only.
For iOS devices, see Step 4.- Make sure that your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi SSID network. (Please connect to a 2.4 GHz band Wi-Fi router (802.11 b/g/n)).
- Select Auto-Detection.
- Tap on the AMID to complete auto setup.
- Ensure that the displayed AMID matches the AMID printed on the bottom of the camera. Once your device is connected to the Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi indicator (green LED light) will become solid.
6. QR Code Setup (for iOS devices)
Setup instructions for iOS devices only.
For Android instructions, see Step 3.- Tap on “setup using QR code”.
- Make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi router as is your camera.
- QR code will be generated when you enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Use your phone to display the QR code to the camera while making sure both devices are parallel to each other. Upon reading the QR code, the camera will beep.
Once your device is connected to the Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi indicator (green LED light) will become solid.7. Mount Your Camera
- Use the provided bracket for wall or ceiling camera installation.
- There are 4 snap lock located at the bottom of the device. Once locked in place, secure the device with the screw.
- Loosen the screw to adjust tthe angle, then tighten the screw to secure the camera position.

Solid Blue LED : Device is powered on
Flashing Blue LED : Camera is being accessed remotelyWi-Fi indicator (Green LED)
Solid Green LED : The device is connected to the Wi-Fi
Flashing Green LED : Camera is attempting to connect to a Wi-Fi AP router.9. Factory Reset
- Make sure your camera is powered on.
- Use a pin to gently press down (3-5 seconds) the factory reset button until the device beeps.
- Reset will take up to 25 seconds. The blue LED indicator will begin to flash when reset is complete.
10. Add Another Wi-Fi Source
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the camera.
- Use a pin to gently press down the WPS button (less than 1 second, no beep).
- On the Soteria home screen, go to “Camera Management”, select the camera, then tap on “Add new Wi-Fi network. Enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Use your phone to display the QR code to the camera while making sure both devices are parallel to each other. Upon reading the QR code, the camera will beep.
11. Safety Guideline
AR1 is designed to be durable and easy to use. Follow basic safety precautions when using this device to minimize risk of fire and shock injury.
- Avoid placing the camera under direct sunlight.
- Use only the provided power adapter and cable for your camera (5V2A).
- Use AR1 within its operating temperature 32° to 95°F (0° to 35°C).
