How Professional Monitoring Service works?
When a possible fire threat or smoke detector is spotted by Soteria analytics cameras, the users will receive a push notification immediately then a SMS text from agents. If the users respond to the SMS text, then they won’t receive the call from agents. There are 3 scenarios for this professional monitoring service:
1. Possible threat confirmed: Agent will contact emergency services immediately and share video clips and other data for the fastest response. In the meantime, the agent will call users to provide assistance until help arrives and get additional information.
2. Possible threat or false alarm can’t be confirmed: Agent will contact the users if they’re not responsive to SMS text. If users respond to SMS text or cancel the alarm from the app, the agent will not call users.
3. False alarm: Agent will send the SMS text to users after confirming it’s a false alarm.
What Professional Monitoring functions will I see in this Beta Project?
You'll receive a push notification when the possible threat is heard by Soteria camera. We use the smoke alarm alert as the demonstration example here.

For example, the smoke alarm is triggered by the electrical fire in this case then you can check the event clip to confirm the store condition. In the meantime, the professional agent is going to contact the store owners for dispatching the emergency service.

If there's no emergency situation, you can tap on "Cancel emergency" within the app.

Upcoming Sound Recognition in the future Beta update
The monitoring service for "Glass Shattering" and "Siren" will be released in the next Beta Program update which means you will receive the push notification and alerts for these 2 sound recognition but the agent won't contact you when the event is occurred. For example, there's no "Cancel emergency" button when you check the video alert.

Important:
1. While we aim for the fire warning function to be highly reliable, Soteria cannot guarantee that emergency responders will be dispatched to your Monitored Property in the event of an emergency. There may be delay or failure to dispatch emergency responders due to availability, local regulations not permitting dispatch of emergency responders to alarm signals which have not been verified by a person physically at the property or other reasons beyond Soteria's control. If you have questions or concerns regarding the Beta Program, please contact us at support@soteriaai.com.
2. Subject to change.
